My favorite focal length on S35 is 28mm 😍

Image stabilization are for noobs. These are for amature who do not have gimbals to take smooth shots. But in real cinema, the makers needs shaky shots that portrays thetension and eye movement appear in real life situations. When we shot with mirrorless, it shakes a lot for less weight. But with cine camera + rigs, the shakes are controlled and feels more natural. I will always support controlled shaky shots over artificial IBIS shots.

I think the biggest giveaway is not necessarily with the color but the color density, especially in the skintones But the question is, is it that much a difference where couple of nodes in DR cant change to boost skin tone density that you justify the extra 20,000 atleast? maybe

I have the 6K with the Tilta screen mod. If ever you want the machine for stripped down shooting this is superb. I shoot with a modified strap, no cage, screw on ND filter and a home made screen visor. It goes with me everywhere.

Some beautiful images though a bit jumpy...I just prefer longer takes and more camera on tripod--Chantal Ackerman style--rather than wiggling camera operator. But again, beautiful images. Sound editing can really be improved upon and make transitions between footage "clips" so much smoother. Feels a bit too jumpy now.

Pretty footage. I received the 6k full frame. I've made a litlle test with ambient light on my house and the footage is so poor so many banding and artefacts, not usable. That's normal when used this cam on interior lights ?

If you want to make a living in Commercial film and advertising, yes the world is changing. If you want to make art for yourself or classic cinema, it is still the same. Both are viable options, but one is a passion, the other is a career; I want to make art, not work commercially; but if you want to sell your skill for social media, great! I think you have to take a real honest look at why you're doing what you're doing, and go from there.

When using a monitor, are you powering both the cam and the monitor using same v mount battery? Or are you using the d tap on the v mount plate?
